Building the Brand

Departure worked closely with HKE's team in the brand development process. We went to quite a few construction sites to see and experience all the details in a typical job. Considering HKE's speciality dealt with excavation and road repair, we chose to pick up the digging aspect of their work and apply it to the logomark. We then established a simple yet strong color palette, combined with an established and versitle typeface, and the HKE brand was built.
